The UAE Research Program for Rain Enhancement Science (UAEREP) is equipped with advanced facilities and infrastructure to support groundbreaking research in meteorology and water security. These resources enable the program to foster innovation, refine scientific methodologies, and address critical environmental challenges. Through its commitment to state-of-the-art research capabilities, UAEREP continues to drive progress in rainfall enhancement and climate resilience on a global scale.
The NCM uses four Beechcraft King Air C90 aircraft based across the country for cloud seeding operations. These aircraft are equipped with the latest technologies and devices needed for cloud seeding and atmospheric research and receive support from 75 automatic weather stations, 8 air quality stations, 34 dust measurement stations and 6 radar stations.
